A second coronavirus (COVID-19) patient has died, reported the Ministry of Health.
According to the ministry, the patient was found unresponsive but died Tuesday afternoon at the University of Hospital of the West Indies. The deceased was noted to have had a cardiac arrest. Resuscitation measures taken were unsuccessful.
The ministry has also reported that they have recorded two additional COVID-19 cases, pushing the number of cases in Jamaica to 38.
